Interior

Marvel at the traditional craftsmanship of this bona fide log cabin. Massive exposed timber beams showcase the beauty and texture of knotted wood. Feel a sense of nostalgia and warmth from the moment you enter. Open floor plan and pitched roof makes this space feel larger than life.

On arrival, get greeted by our resident cats! Honestly, they’re the true caretakers of the grounds. Wake up to stunning views! Our open loft faces an oversized window with picturesque mountain landscape.

Fully stocked kitchen has everything you need to whip up delicious gourmet meals. Large island with bar seating and an extra bar sink, gives you plenty of space to cook, congregate, and make lasting memories. Have a family dinner at our dining table that seats 6.

Downstairs bathroom is a whole vibe! Feel like you’ve stepped into a 1920’s era speakeasy! Discover art deco wallpaper with brass fixtures, pristine white tiling, and decorative wood doors reminiscent of early 20th century bathhouses. Upstairs, feel like you’re in a secret mountain cave with the natural stone shower.

Test your aim and see who has the best throw with our dart board. Have a game night or curl up with a book from our collection. Browse our CDs or tune in to a local radio station on our surround sound stereo system.

Exterior

The spacious living room opens up to the oversized deck, complete with plenty of seating and a BBQ grill. Keep an eye out for passing animals and birds. Depending on the season, you can catch a glimpse of deer, sheep, hummingbirds, and more.

Explore our miniature stonehenge rock garden, a vestige of and tribute to the home’s former inhabitant: an eclectic, beloved artist whose line drawings, cd collection, as well as art history and philosophy books you can still find around the house.

IMPORTANT INFO

-There are two other buildings on the property with full time tenants.
They will give you your space and we ask that you are respectful of your neighbors.

-There are very friendly cats who live on the property.
They have had access to the interior of the house and will likely try to greet you and may want to follow you inside. Please be kind to the cats but feel free to gently deny them access to the interior during your stay!

-We are not connected to a community water system.
We use a water cistern that must be filled in town and hauled to the property. Please keep water usage to a minimum by avoiding unnecessary or excessive water usage.

-Please closely supervise any children in your party.
The railing along the upstairs loft has spaces large enough for children to fit through. There is no protection for small children if they are near the edge of the loft. Please do not allow them to look through the beams into the downstairs area or play unsupervised upstairs.

-Please do not climb or sit on rock structures.
The rock garden is sharp, unforgiving, and may contain loose rock pieces. The structures are unable to support weight and should not be tampered with.

This property has not been tested for Radon
